Respect
Shield are proud to participate in the Football Association’s Respect programme.
Respect is the collective responsibility of everyone involved in football to create a fair, safe and enjoyable environment in which the game can take place.
Research undertaken by the FA shows that 9 out of 10 players perform better when they are given a positive environment.
Our behaviour towards all stakeholders significantly affects the players and the game.
Who do we respect?
- The coaches
- The players
- The officials
- Other spectators
- We respect everyone to create a safe and positive environment
